Paris Hilton has been fortunate enough to receive some distinguished peaks in whatever career she has ever chosen in her life. May it be modeling, acting or singing, she might not be the best in each of them, but she surely has been praised worldwide, call it her luck or hard work.
In the field of modeling Paris has had the opportunities to work with some of the most popular and leading modeling and ad agencies. May it be New York's Ford Models or London's much acclaimed Models 1 Agency and Premier Model Management.
Paris achieved her highest status in the modeling world by also working in the world famous brands like Guess, Tommy Hilfiger, Marciano, and Christian Dior to name a few. Who else in the same field has been fortunate enough to be associated with such amazing and trendy brands of today's times.
Paris was soon known as the symbol of fashion, glamour and undoubtedly she achieved the highest standards and the pinnacle of her professional life was in fact in the modeling world.
Her acting career also brought her considerable fame but not as much as the modeling world brought her the popularity worldwide with the world famous brands.
At just the age of 21 she was chosen for a Fox reality show which is an achievement in itself. The show itself went on for five seasons, and it was proved that a show with Paris in it could also be a hit TV serial. Undoubtedly it was praised by the world and it was also just the first step to her acting achievements.
Paris went on taking up short roles and guest appearances in movies and television shows but the biggest achievement of her career was in the year 2005 when her horror movie House Of Wax was released, with herself playing the role of Paige Edwards.
This was the very first time that Paris actually was awarded for her work, and that all was brought to her by one film, House Of Wax. The yearly Teen's choice award was sure to go to her lap, and yes that is what actually happened. Paris was awarded the Teen's Choice Award in a bit of a weird category, which was the Best Scream Award. She proved with this one award in her court that she could actually "act" which was also a good reply to the so many controversies and gossips about Paris being just an amateur actress, only beauty and no brains.
This was not just the end of Paris' acting achievements. It seemed that the best decision of her acting profession was in fact the movie House Of Wax itself. She was awarded two nominations in the MTV Movie Awards, which are very popularly known. The first category was the Best Frightened Performance according to the horror movie's character she played in the movie. The second category brought her even more praise as it was one
Of the most respectable and the main awards of any award functions. She also won the nomination for the category of Choice Breakout Performance- Female. She might have not won these awards, but to be nominated in such categories was a victory in itself and she achieved what she really wanted. The belief in people that Paris could also act!
Her achievements then continued when she got the offer of the "lead roles" in the big screen which she was not at all expecting till a few years. The success of House Of Wax brought her all the acclaim she wanted. She then signed National Lampoon's Pledge This! (2006) and Bottom's Up (2006) as the lead roles.
